Protection from Offensive Messages
Messages that may be hurtful are shown behind a warning
ordicio checks incoming messages on your device. In a conversation, a message that may be offensive is covered by “This message may be offensive.” Tap “Show” to read it anyway; you can also remove it or block the sender from there. In the inbox, such a message reads “Message hidden: it may be offensive”.
The check runs in the app itself. The first time, the app prepares its detection model, which can take a moment.
Your Own Messages
If a message you are about to send may come across as offensive, ordicio asks “Send this message?” first. Recipients would see it behind a warning. Choose “Send anyway” or change it.
Switching It Off
In Messages, tap the settings button (“Messaging settings”) and switch “Protection from offensive messages” off or on.
